Hardest thing is to put my Roxie down tomorrow! i got Roxie from Carson kill shelter 15 years ago. I originally went in to get a pitt bull. i asked the attendant why are there so many pit bulls in this shelter. he indicated that 40 pit bulls a week were getting killed at that shelter. he also said that they were the sweetest dogs and that they get a bad rap! all of a sudden a pit bull was taken in on a long stick with a loop around its neck. and the whole kennel started going crazy! dogs barking and going crazy! the attendant said a pit bull that was violent had attacked a person in a wheel chair. When I looked around the only dog that wasn't going crazy was Roxie. i said to the attendant I WANT THAT DOG and we have had 16 years of love from that adorable dog! she is crossing the forever rainbow in the morning..... love you Roxie
