Mercy Center Ministries Providing services to homeless women, and young women with children in Suffolk County. Young women can get help here for anything they need.

Mostly a safe place to stay, go to school, get counseling and work. Residents can leave at any time, this is not a prison, or juvenile hall or a foster home. Come on your own, eave if you do not like it.

A huge THANK YOU to Boy Scout Troop 184 of Sayville!

We extend our gratitude to all the scouts, families, and friends who came together in support of the women and children we serve. A very special thank you goes to Todd Williams (pictured right) for organizing such a meaningful donation drive and inspiring the community to give so generously. We would like to extend our appreciation to Malcolm Merced (pictured left) for his assistance in delivering the donations and supporting this initiative from start to finish.

Because of your compassion and dedication, an incredible collection of household items was gathered to help our clients in need. We are especially grateful to the scouts who volunteered their time to organize, sort, and pack the donations for delivery to our shelters. Your teamwork and willingness to serve others truly reflect the values of scouting and community spirit.

We are inspired by your commitment to service and the example you are setting in our community. Acts of kindness like yours strengthen our mission and help us continue providing safe and supportive spaces for those in need.

Thank you, Troop 184, for turning compassion into action and showing the true spirit of community service! πŸ’™

A big shoutout to Dinah and Samara from City MD for donating 200 welcome kits for incoming clients.

In the middle of crisis, the basics matter more than ever; simple essentials can bring assurance to a moment that feels anything but stable. These kits help clients land softly, giving them what they need to regroup, reset, and move forward one step at a time.

We’re grateful for this thoughtful donation and for partners who understand that support starts with the small things that make a big difference!

A heartfelt thank you to Deacon Penny and our friends from the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Patchogue for sharing some fellowship, refreshments, and a craft with our ladies. Time is one of the most precious gifts we can give, and yours continues to make a lasting impact on our clients and organization as a whole. We are truly grateful.

Easter brings the freshness of spring, a time for hope, celebration, and the simple joys that brighten our days.

A special thank you to Sue and the ladies of the Lake Grove–Centereach Homemakers, who continue their tradition of showing up each year with compassion and care, creating meaningful and memorable moments for the women and children in our shelters. This year feels even more special, as several babies will experience their very first Easter!

Wishing you all a beautiful and happy Easter, and thank you for all that you do to bring joy to those who need it most. πŸ’›πŸ£
