There's plenty to talk about on this sale. This is the grandparents house of one of my first friends I ever had when I moved to Long Island at 8 years old. Unfortunately, his grandparents are no longer with us. They raised 8 children in this home, all of whom were my clients on this sale. With 8 kids, that turns into something like 30 grandchildren!
I remember when I first walked in, I noticed a piece of paper on the fridge and it was a massive list of birthdays. With that many children, grand children, and great grandchildren, it is literally someone's birthday every single week 🤣😳.
When you have 8 clients, all of whom grew up with each other - it would almost be weird if there weren't a couple of different opinions as to which direction to go in with the home. Their life long mediators unfortunately are no longer here😢, and when they brought us in to take a look - it was very important to me that we covered what every single scenario would look like, as well as the financials. In a situation like this, it is not just about the money. There is a lot of sentimentality, and family dynamics all of which have significant value. Our job was to give them all of the information they needed for them to make the best decision for themselves as a family. When you grow up with that many siblings, you have no choice but to learn how to work together. These are the sweetest, kindest people you could ever ask to work with, and it was an honor to represent them and their family history. It's no wonder why they were chosen to multiply so much.
