Just had a client reach out yesterday wondering what happened to a listing that had just been active on Zillow!! Here we go….😬💛

Eeek…Zillow & MRED (our local MLS!!) are currently at odds, and it could change the houses you see online in your home searches! I’m bummed because I look at Zillow literally all day long! One of my favorite hobbies!🤣🤓

📝💘I tried to find a simple explanation:
Zillow wants broader access to listing data, while MLS systems like MRED are tightening rules around how listings are shared and displayed—especially when it comes to accuracy, timing, and who controls the information.

So…What does this mean for you?🧐

• You might notice some listings showing up later (or differently) on Zillow😕
• Not every available home is guaranteed to be on third-party sites😢
• The most accurate, up-to-date info is still coming directly from your local MLS…and I am always happy to get you whatever info you need or help you search for specifics!!🏡💝
