Fun factoid or not fun. Home inspectors in Michigan ARE NOT licensed. They can literally write a bald faced lie and have zero consequences. They can take your money, have no knowledge of a structure, write a report and opinion that can be completely false and there is no recourse for a Buyer, Seller or their Brokers or Agents. I'm not sure I will ever recommend a home inspection to a Buyer or Seller, in good faith, ever again.
