Fall fun is officially here on the Grand Strand! Save this bucket list for a few of our favorite ways to celebrate the season around Myrtle Beach, Conway and Pawleys Island.
Southern Palmetto Farms | Aynor
Kick off fall with a trip to the farm! Southern Palmetto Farms opens its fall season September 26 and celebrates throughout October with a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, Palmetto Pig Racing, an inflatable jump pad, play areas, photo ops, live entertainment and themed weekends.
Thompson Farm & Nursery | Conway
Thompson Farm's Fall Festival runs September 19 through November 1, with a different theme each weekend. Explore the 6.5-acre corn maze, pick out pumpkins, take a hay wagon ride, meet more than 35 farm animals, grab something from the food trucks and enjoy plenty of fall photo opportunities. The farm is open Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season.
🍁 **Cabana Pumpkin Patch | Pawleys Island**
For a Pawleys Island fall tradition, stop by Cabana Pumpkin Patch. Shop pumpkins and gourds in all shapes and sizes along with cornstalks, Indian corn and hay bales, then stick around for the hay maze, pumpkin painting, games, corn pit, seasonal treats and fall photo ops.
Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival | Huntington Beach State Park
September 25–27 | One of the area's signature fall events returns to historic Atalaya! More than 100 artisans will gather inside the former winter home of Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington for three days of fine art, handmade crafts, local food and live music. Admission is $10 for adults, and ages 15 and under are free.
Graveyard Grand Prix Coffin Races | Downtown Conway
October 17 | This one definitely deserves a spot on the bucket list. Head to Downtown Conway to watch teams race creative, human-powered coffins down Laurel Street. The second annual event also includes costumes, food trucks, Halloween vendors, kids' activities, performers and music.
From pumpkin patches and corn mazes to art festivals and coffin races, there are plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy fall along the Grand Strand.
