Today, we pause to remember the precious lives lost on September 11, 2001, the innocent men and women, the courageous first responders, and the heroes who ran toward danger to help others.
We also remember the families who have carried an empty place in their hearts and at their tables for 25 years. Time may soften the edges of grief, but it never replaces the person who is missing.
May God draw especially close to every heart still mourning today. May He bring comfort where there is sorrow, peace where painful memories remain, and strength for the days when the loss still feels as though it happened yesterday. May God bless them, and may God America 🇺🇸.
