⚠️Reminder to Rhode Island landlords!

The RI Department of Health has begun enforcing the state’s rental registry and lead compliance requirements.

Fines are being calculated for noncompliant properties:
• $50 per unit, per month for properties not registered
• $125 per unit, per month for units without a valid lead certificate

If you own a rental property, now is the time to make sure everything is in order. If you’re unsure where you stand or need help getting compliant, I’m happy to point you in the right direction.
