We’re all nostalgic for something from the homes we grew up in.

If I could bring back one feature, it wouldn’t be a bigger kitchen or a wraparound porch.

It would be the massive beech tree in our yard with a hammock hanging from it. I spent countless hours there just talking with my dad.

He’s in heaven now, and I’d give anything to have one more conversation in that hammock. ❤️

Ever walk into your house, look around, and think…

Try this instead:

🧺 Set a timer for 15 minutes.

🗑️ Focus on just one room, or even one corner.

📦 Fill one donation bag.

🧽 Clean one surface completely before moving on.

🎶 Put on your favorite music or podcast to make it enjoyable. Music is my go to.

🚫 Don’t aim for perfect, aim for better than it was 15 minutes ago.

Small, consistent wins create lasting habits.

Remember: your home wasn’t lived in all at once, and it doesn’t have to be organized all at once either.
