Another amazing day at the Peachtree City July 4th Parade celebrating 250 years! So !any people and seeing so many friends! Can't wait to find out how many people were there! We threw 6,000 pieces of candy and almost made it to the end!

Aberdeen Fine Properties, The Henson Team Sisters, will be in the Peachtree City Parade again this year - We may be the only ones in the 250th Celebration who were also in the 200th Parade 50 YEARS AGO in 1976 with our Girl Scout troop and our "Happy Birthday America" Cake! Our Dad, Roy Henson, made the frame out of chicken wire and we put paper mached newspaper strips on it and painted it! I member riding down Hwy 54 on the back of a flat bed truck with our cake in that parade! Then we took it to the Girl Scout Rally at Powers Cross Roads in Newnan to continue the celebration! Wow, how can that be 50 years ago!
