Last year, dear past clients of mine recommended me to this sweet newlywed couple as they began the journey of purchasing their very first home. I’ve never attended a more moving and meaningful Memorial Day commemoration than the one held each year in my mom’s hometown of Waverly, Minnesota. It’s always been a day marked by deep gratitude, heartfelt reflection, and a genuine reverence for the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country, so many from our family and this little hometown. 🇺🇸

This year’s keynote speaker was retired U.S. Marine Captain Chas Henry, award-winning international journalist and author of Fuji Fire, a powerful account of the 1979 tragedy on Mount Fuji, where a typhoon-driven fire claimed the lives of 13 U.S. Marines and injured dozens more. His book honors the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those affected while shedding light on one of the Marine Corps’ most devastating peacetime disasters.

Making the day even more personal, my uncle, retired Navy CDR Michael Monahan, who served as part of the medical response team during that tragedy, was also in town this weekend from Washington State with my aunt RoseMarie and had the honor of giving the introduction.

A moving reminder today that freedom is never free, and remembrance matters. ❤️🤍💙

Closing day for Andrew, Mary, and sweet baby Owen! 🏡💛

What a joy it has been helping this precious first-time homebuyer family find the perfect place to call home. We were introduced by Mary’s sister and her husband, who I had the honor of helping with their first home purchase last year. From the very beginning, Andrew and Mary felt like friends.

We searched and searched, and after one home didn’t make the cut after inspection, they trusted the process and jumped right back in. This time, with Mary’s parents visiting from Wisconsin, we found the one, a beautiful home in Hogansville that checked all the boxes!

This closing was such a wonderful experience, full of energy, laughter, and so much excitement for what’s ahead. Andrew and Mary, thank you for allowing me to be part of this special chapter. I am so happy for your sweet family and cannot wait to see all the memories you make in your new home! 🎉🏡

It's the best feeling when clients become so much more than clients 💛

Huge congratulations to Daniel & Mandy on closing on the place they plan to call their forever home in Fayetteville! 🏡✨ What a journey this has been, from our first conversations last fall after being introduced by my niece, to navigating the market together, to finally handing over the keys to the perfect place for this next chapter.
