Listings and sales are down in Fayette County compared to last year. A lot of people worry about that, but I would tell you that homes are still moving quickly, and people are still getting asking price or better for homes that are updated and appropriately priced! It's still a seller's market.
In my long experience in residential sales, it's not unusual to have dips and peaks. Stock market fluctuations can have a temporary effect, as well as interest rates. Sometimes, it's just a cycle of satisfying pent up desire to sell. There just isn't as much inventory out there right now.
