Expert Tips for Selling Your Home This Fall and Winter
The luxury home market in the US is as diverse as the dreams that fuel it. Recent data from a listings platform shows just how wide-ranging these top-tier sales can be—current transactions in major metros span from $3.7M all the way up to a remarkable $130M. Some cities saw their highest deals at $47M, $40.2M, $40M, $21.2M, $19M, $18M, and $17.5M, which speaks to the unique character of each local market. In four standout metros, even the fifth-priciest homes sold above $10M, reflecting a particularly strong appetite for high-end living. One market stood out for its narrow range among the top five sales, all between $24M and $40M. These numbers come from publicly marketed properties, so they don’t capture every private transaction, and in nondisclosure areas, only listing prices are included. As someone who has spent decades helping clients find their dream homes, I find it fascinating how every market tells its own story through these numbers.
