LeAnn Shoemaker joined the Christy Buck Team as a Sales Agent in October of 2019 after retiring from 27 years in public education. She spent time teaching every subject in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades, and worked for Pasadena, Clear Creek and Friendswood school districts. Having completed a long career helping students reach for and achieve their dreams, she now looks forward to helping her clients an
d their families realize the dream of home ownership. Living in southeast Houston her entire life has given LeAnn an appreciation for the area's rich history, as well as special insight into its growth and development patterns. Her experience in three of the area's local school districts gives her a unique understanding of the quality education options available to buyers, and her own children have attended both public and private schools. Now, LeAnn is excited to bring this valuable experience to her clients at The Christy Buck Team. She appreciates the brokerage's atmosphere of trust and support among its agents, and says it's clear that in every transaction the number one priority is always a commitment to the client. LeAnn is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors, and holds degrees from both Abilene Christian University and the University of Houston Clear Lake. She is also a member of the Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, which helps foster and rehabilitate abused, neglected, and abandoned horses from all over Texas. She enjoys spending time with the horses as well as traveling with her husband, entertaining friends, and going out to hear live music.
