When you live a purpose - driven life, and fully understand your main reason for existing, nothing else matters. The girls, and I were back at one of our favorite places to spend time together this weekend. When we serve at the Food Bank, I am reminded of Isaiah 58:10, "If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry, and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in darkness."

I spent the morning with my girls doing what we love. The Houston Food Bank, is one of the places where we absolutely love to volunteer. I enjoy meeting people from all different walks of life, and I love that we are assisting families who, otherwise would not have food to eat. Sadly, many kids eat lunch at school knowing that is their last meal of the day.

Happy 24th Anniversary to my forever love. No fancy celebration (we managed to have lunch at Pappadeaux, they never miss), if we wanted to we could not. We are so terribly tired. Kevin & Kendal just returned from Orlando (as you can guess - volleyball), and just call me Mrs. Daisy, because that is what I was this weekend for the KK. Let's not talk about our custom home that we are building (about 90% complete). That's a second job all by itself. We all went to bed tired, woke up tired. We said to each other, if we had to do it all over again for the girls, we would, however I would ask God to take me back 10 years. We are certainly too old for these kind of shenanigans 🤣🥰. Ok, ok enough of my rant. Kevin,chapter 25 will be special. As we always say, slow and steady wins the race.
