Job Description of Maintenance Technician Manager

• Delegating tasks among the maintenance team
• Perform ongoing facility maintenance
• Completing repairs in community
• Conducting routine maintenance checks
• Taking inventory of cleaning supplies and repair tools
• Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent and Sanitary Housing to all residents
• Training staff in maintenance technician duties

A Maintenance Technician- in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment.
Duties include
• plumbing,
• Performing general maintenance of HVAC
• electrical/wiring
• carpentry
• inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards
• scheduling major repairs within the community
• Maintain the property curb appeal and general cleanliness

Repairs needing fixed: You should be familiar with most of these below.
• Holes and soft spots in subfloor.
• Moderate plumbing repairs under home and in master bathroom sink and shower.
• Fix leaks in ceiling and skylight.
• Minor electrical.
• Install carpet or linoleum flooring.
• Remove junk.
• Paint.
• Broken windows.
• Repair drywall.
• Remove mold where needed.
• Building steps or a deck in front of the home.

Qualifications include:
• 5 years experience performing above job duties
• No felonies on background check
• Able to work Monday-Friday
• Must be available for after hour calls including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed for emergencies
• Valid driver's license or identification card
