This month we're shining a light on City Council member Wes Harrell!

Born and raised in Alabaster, Wes has called Moody home for over 22 years. Before real estate, he spent nearly 23 years with NBC-13, and his passion for serving others carried straight into his next chapter — helping families across our community buy and sell homes for the past 8 years. For Wes, it's never just been about a transaction — it's about helping people build the life they envision.

Wes shares life with his wife and business partner, Nicole McCarrell, along with their 5 children, 2 sons-in-law, 1 grandbaby, and 4 pets. When he's not working, you'll find him spending time with family and friends, traveling, or giving back to the community he loves.

Now 9 months into his term as a Moody City Councilor, Wes says he's grateful for the trust and relationships he's built across our city — and he's excited to keep growing Moody in smart, sustainable ways that benefit every neighbor.
