My story is simple… I'm just a small-town girl with big-city dreams.🌷I was Born and raised in Pella, Iowa, and I appreciate and understand small-town life. I was restless in my youth and wanted to venture out of Iowa. I have lived in Florida, N.Y., TX, MO, and TN. Ultimately, I was best suited in my "Heart H" me," Iowa. "I met my husband, Do, while attending college in Stony Brook, N.Y. When I bro

ught him home to meet my family, ironically, he loved Iowa, so we chose to live here and raise our family in small-town America. We've been married for 33 years and have three sons, 2 "daughters" in love," and two grandsons. We've trained and relocated our family several times due to job changes, so throughout my travels, I've learned what it takes to come from a different place and settle back into "Iowa" l" for an "ain. I love helping people relocate and feel good about the insight I can provide into their process. As always, there are challenges, but those challenges can usually be overcome with teamwork and tenacity. With the good and the bad things that can come about during a move or transition, I hope to shed some light on ways we can make it easier together, and I hope to make each home-buying or selling experience as joyful and stress-free as possible. I know, despite the stresses that come, it can be fun!😀

Today I had the privilege of closing another relocation transaction, and I am reminded again how personal every move really is. While there are contracts, timelines, and logistics involved, there is also emotion, transition, uncertainty, and excitement woven into every step of the journey.

As we wrapped up Tulip Time 2026 this weekend, one of my favorite traditions was gathering together yesterday for the community worship service at the Vermeer Pavilion. 🌷

⛪️Sitting surrounded by generations of families, friends, neighbors, and visitors after a weekend filled with tulips, parades, Dutch dancing, and celebration was such a beautiful reminder of how blessed we are to call Pella home. 💕

There is something truly special about the values woven into this community… faith, hard work, generosity, excellence, and caring for one another. So many of us who were raised here have been deeply shaped by the culture, heritage, and example of those who came before us. I am incredibly thankful for the “open door” spirit that continues to make Pella feel like a city of refuge. 🌷

Moments like yesterday remind me that community is one of life’s greatest blessings. ✨
