We've all got them. Which one are you?
1. The Borrower: always needs a tool, a cup of sugar, or a jump start. Returns approximately none of it. Your ladder lives in their garage now.
2. The Watchdog: knows every car on the street, every package on every porch, and exactly what time you got home last Tuesday. Didn't join neighborhood watch. They ARE neighborhood watch.

Pssst...
The expensive home repairs almost never come out of nowhere. They're the small things ignored at exactly the wrong time... We're right in that window. Here's your mid-summer check-in:
1. AC - change the filter, clear the condenser, make sure it's actually blowing cold
2. Roof & attic - look for lifted shingles, check the attic isn't cooking
3. Exterior seals - caulking cracking around windows or doors? $10 fix now or much more later
4. Outdoor systems - walk your sprinkler zones, check for drips, inspect the deck
5. Pests - foundation perimeter for ants, eaves for wasp nests
6. Fridge coils - pull it out and vacuum the back. 10 minutes. Real difference.
