Networking with other agents is a MUST because they can give the inside scoop on new listings that are coming up before they hit the market publicly.

If there's a buyer, an agent can spend the day on MLS looking for the perfect property to make sure their client is happy.

Once the buyer finds a home, it's time for negotiations! This usually involves a lot of phone calls and e-mails.

Homebuyers beware. There are many myths out there about buying a home.

Because of these myths, you may think you need a 20% down payment, have perfect credit, or go through the real estate process alone.

Thankfully, none of that is true!

First, you don't need a 20% down payment. In fact, first-time buyers only need to put 3.5% down in some cases! Down payment options can help you buy a house without that 20%.

Next, you don't need perfect credit to buy a home. Like your down payment, many programs are available to buyers with ok and good credit to help you buy a home.

But how are you supposed to find those programs in the first place? Through the help of your buyer’s agent! As a buyer, you need a real estate agent by your side, so you don’t have to go through the real estate process alone.

One of the first things your agent will look at is your home’s size and condition. Bigger homes usually fetch larger prices. However, if your home is in pristine condition, it can sell for more than even the biggest house on your street. 💰

Your agent will also pay close attention to your home’s location, which is one of the most important things for buyers. 📍

Now is an amazing time to think about renting out your house. Because the housing market is so hot right now, more people are looking for good rentals. 🔥

But before you get too excited about renting your house, there are 6 simple steps you need to take. 🗒

First, make sure your house is rentable. It’s best to get this out of the way first so you don’t waste time. ✅

Next, get an inspection to make sure your home is in good condition and is livable. ✅

Test all of the appliances and then do a deep clean to make sure your tenants are happy when they move in! ✅

Then make sure you do your research and get a landlord insurance policy. This is different from your home insurance, so it’s worth asking around. Your real estate agent can help with this! (Me 🤗)

Once all of that’s taken care of, you can list the property. If this is your first time, it’s definitely worth it to work with a real estate agent who does rentals.(Me 🤗) They’ll take care of everything when it comes to listing and showing, just like when you sell a house, making your life easy! ✅
