South Shore Realtors® is the second largest local Realtor® trade association in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with over 3,000 members in two regions. South Shore Realtors® represents 24 cities and towns across the South Shore of Massachusetts: Abington, Braintree, Bridgewater, Carver, Cohasset, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Holbrook, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield,

Norwell, Pembroke, Plymouth, Plympton, Quincy, Rockland, Scituate, Weymouth and Whitman. South Shore Realtors® Greater Fall River Region represents 7 cities and towns across the South Coast: Fall River, Freetown, Middleborough, Somerset, Swansea and Westport (in Massachusetts) and Touisset (in Rhode Island). The Association provides members with a wide-range of services including education and professional standards all with a view towards benefiting REALTORS® as well as property owners and purchasers. Association activities are governed by an elected Board of Directors. The Board establishes policies and programs to meet the needs of its members. The Board of Directors is organized annually with the election of Officers and Directors and is governed by the Association’s Bylaws. They are assisted in their undertakings by various committees and task forces that provide advice and counsel to the Board. The mission of South Shore REALTORS® is to provide its members the resources, in partnership with MAR and NAR, to deliver the highest level of professional and ethical service to all.

Petapalooza Challenge Contestant #6 - Smokey! He may be a 15-year-old Dachshund, but his personality, determination, and enthusiasm make him the perfect ambassador for the Association. A true believer that age is just a number, Smokey approaches every day with energy, curiosity, and a positive attitude—qualities that reflect the dedication and perseverance needed to be our Mascot.

Known affectionately as the "Mortgage Dox," Smokey has already helped bring attention to the importance of mortgage documentation through educational videos. His fun-loving personality and camera-friendly charm make him a natural spokesperson who can engage audiences, spark conversations, and help raise awareness about MRECA and the important of finding housing solutions in MA.

She's as clever as she is cuddly, with a world full of pillows, her sister-dog Bella, a beloved brother-bird, devoted humans, and an eternal quest to chase every rabbit in the yard. He's a great writer and keeps members informed of office closures and important reminders. He's working on his video skills but has mastered his photo shoots. He is excited to have been the face of the Association and the pet to help MRECA find housing solutions in MA. Her nickname at daycare is Meatball and she loves posing for glamor shots! Rescued from the streets of Arkansas in the summer of 2020, she now spends her days sunbathing poolside or resting her head on Pottery Barn throw pillows - living the good life.
