Big news for FLEDC and Yates County!

Steve Griffin, CEO of the Finger Lakes Economic Development Center, has been named Chair of the New York State Economic Development Council Board of Directors for a two-year term.

The NYSEDC brings together economic development organizations and partners from across the state, more than 1,000 in total, to support growth, investment, infrastructure, and opportunity in communities of every size.

This is a proud moment for our organization and for the community we serve. Yates County may be one of the smallest counties in New York State, but this appointment is a reminder of what makes the NYSEDC strong; that economic development organizations of all sizes – from the largest metros to communities like Yates County, have a seat at the table and a voice in pushing New York forward.
