History

RE/MAX 440 was officially opened its Quakertown Office on May 7, 1987 with only 4 agents. Then RE/MAX 440 opened a second Office on July 23, 1993 with only 3 agents in Perkasie, PA. On January 1, 1998 RE/MAX 440 opened its third office in Pennsburg, PA with 1 agent. On August 1, 1998 RE/MAX 440 opened its 4th office in Skippack with 3 agents. In June 2000, RE/MAX440 purchased RE/MAX Properties in Dublin andDoylestown, and then their seventh office was purchased RE/MAX Central in Lansdale in November of 2002. RE/MAX opened its eighth office RE/MAX Central on January 15, 2007 in Blue Bell. RE/MAX Central was the 1st RE/MAX office in Pennsylvania. This now makes RE/MAX/Central THE largest RE/MAX company in the state. In September and October of 2008 RE/MAX Central purchased two offices in the Lehigh Valley, RE/MAX Marketplace and RE/MAX of the Valley making them combined the highest producing real estate company in the Lehigh Valley. In 2019, RE/MAX Central purchased two offices in Philadelphia, one in South Philadelphia on Broad Street and one on Penn Street waterfront. 2019 Also was the year that the Lansdale Office switched locations from Broad Street to Ralph’s Corner. Now these companies comprise of approximately 200 agents with the largest market share in Bucks, Montgomery and Lehigh Counties. We are currently licensed in PA, MD, NJ & Florida.
