Barndos! 🏑 If you are interested in one, find the right people to make it happen! They can be great investments and most definitely are finaceable and insurable; however, every time I list one interested buyers share how they are being told it can't be financed or it won't appraise {without other barndominums as comps} or it will be difficult to insure, etc.

πŸ₯‚This closing is just one example (of many!). Located in Jay, it was "Active" for ~2 months. It is 25 years old and is in need of updating, but was still popular! The buyers secured a great deal and had zero inspection/repair, appraisal, financing, or insurance (with a well-known carrier!) issues. Congrats to my sellers for a smooth transaction!
