August 2024 is a big month here at Drones and Homes LLC.

We are excited to announce that we completed our 500th inspection this month. In reality, that's probably small potatoes; but we are proud of what we have accomplished for our clients.

We are sad but excited to bid farewell to our team member Leah Scholten as her family has moves out of the area. We wish them well in their Navy career. Thank you for everything you contributed to our success!

We also completed over 1,400 Wind Mitigation Inspections in support of the My Safe Florida Program, as well as many other sub-contracted jobs.

We have amassed 113 5-star reviews and hope they keep coming!

August 29th, as a top 3 finalist, we will attend the Best of the Bay Awards Gala hoping to be voted as THE Best of the Bay Home Inspection Company for the second consecutive year.

Preparing for this week's work and I reflect on a huge day for us last week and I didn't make a dime from it. Long story short, I help a lady that was about to be scammed and she avoided it because she took my advice.

Very short version:
On most home inspections I am hired by and represent the buyer. On Nov 2, at one of my inspections, the seller was still home when I arrived and she was on the phone because "her account was hacked." I overhear some of the conversation while I am in the attic......some time later when she is leaving the house I ask "all that get cleared up?" We talk, she leaves, I do the job, she calls me a few hours later and thanks me so much for stepping in and saying something.

Thats the quick version. Ask me the details next time we are together. Watch out for each other out there, even if it doesn't "hit the bottom line." I was so caught up in the moment I didn't even ask her for a 5 star review; opportunity missed.
