Hi everyone! My name is REESE and my foster mom says I’m a happy, healthy, sweet, joyful love bug 🐞. But just so you know, I’m not a bug, I’m a DOG! My foster Mom also says I’m purrrrrfect - but don’t worry that I’m a cat 🐈 , like I said, I’m a DOG!
I came into rescue from my first family that had a change in circumstance that included an overseas deployment. I’m doing wonderfully in my foster home, but I’m almost ready for my forever home. I’ve been to the vet and gotten all my shots, and having my teeth cleaned the last week of October, then I’ll be in tip top shape.
Since I’m told I’m going to be a popular dog (I mean, who wouldn’t love me - bug, cat, or dog!), I’ll tell you that my foster mom thinks I’d be best in a house with older kids (though I’ve been around younger kids - it would just be best if they already have good “play with doggies” manners and aren’t learning them for the first time on me). I’m likely fine with other animals in the home - I might even prefer it, though if the people were home a lot, I’d be OK being an only dog as well. I just don’t want to be an only dog that is also home alone for a lot of hours. I’d love to have a fenced yard to run and play since I’m still on the younger side, but I don’t necessarily need to have long exercise walks, though I’d probably enjoy them.
