Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom delayed is still worth celebrating.

Today I honor the resilience, strength, faith, and contributions of those who came before me and helped shape the opportunities I enjoy today.

As a Black woman, a Navy veteran, a wife, a mother, a business owner, and a woman of faith, I don’t take those opportunities for granted.

May we continue to learn from our history, appreciate our progress, and work toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Most people know what I do.

Far fewer know who I am.

The truth is, the things that make me a good Realtor have very little to do with real estate.

Because long before I was helping people buy and sell homes, I was building relationships, solving problems, celebrating wins, and showing up for the people in my life.

The houses change.

People change.

But caring for people never changes.

✔ You’ll develop strong opinions about beaches.

✔ Your guests will think you live on vacation.

Behind every closing, showing, contract, and phone call is a real person.

A wife.
A mom.
A Navy veteran.
A woman of faith.
A business owner.

The older I get, the more I realize success isn’t about fitting into someone else’s definition of who you should be.

For me, it’s having the freedom to be there for my family, the opportunity to serve my community, work that challenges me, and a faith that keeps me grounded through it all.

That’s the life I’m building.
And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

People think being a Realtor is showing houses and writing contracts. Truth is, that’s only a small part of the job.

On any given day, I’m a negotiator, strategist, project manager, problem solver, educator, counselor, and sometimes a professional fire-putter-outer. 😂

My job isn’t just helping people buy and sell homes. My job is helping people navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives with confidence.

The house is the product. The guidance is the value. 🏡❤️
