Mortgage update 🏡

We actually got a little bit of good news this week… rates came down some 👏🏼

What happened in simple terms :
Oil prices dropped after news of a pause in conflict overseas, and when oil drops it helps ease inflation. That gave mortgage rates a little room to improve.

Inflation is still hanging around, mostly because housing costs are staying higher, but nothing came in worse than expected which helped keep things steady.

What I’m keeping an eye on
The Fed meets next on April 30 and May 1, so the market will definitely be watching closely to see what they say about rates and inflation

My honest take
The market is still moving, but we’re starting to see small windows of opportunity open up again

If you’ve been sitting on the fence, this is a really good time to at least have a game plan in place 💬
