Isaias was . . . A lot. Bit of a meteorological anomaly as well, given that “sting jet” phenomenon that effectively made winds for our area pretty much at category 3 for a short time. We have power back, feels like to stay now and have made good progress on cleanup, including the pool. We are very thankful to be safe and that there was no damage to our home or cars. There is still a lot of damage around to clean up, and some people did not fare so well, as well as a really distressing amount of damage to trees in our local canopy. Fortunately, we have tended to experience the best of human response to these disasters rather than the other way around.
