Looks like we're in for a rough weekend here along the Gulf Coast.

If you're staying, make sure you've secured anything around the house that could become a problem in high winds. If you're evacuating, safe travels, and hopefully we'll all be back to normal before too long.

There are signs that the dust is settling on the wild real estate market swings we've experienced over the past six years.
Prices and rates are stabilizing resulting in buyers and sellers realizing that life may dictate the right time to buy or sell more so than market conditions.

Florida home sales and pending sales continued to rise in July, suggesting buyers are moving forward even as the mortgage-rate advantage they had earlier this year fades.
