Gunther Properties helps bring more affordable housing for seniors to Pensacola, FL:

Fred Gunther with Gunther Properties brokered the purchase of approximately 5.78 acres in West Pensacola by Southport Development (www.sphome.com). An application submitted by SP Magnolia, LLC was approved for funding by Florida Housing in RFA 2024-305 Community Development Block Grant — Disaster Recovery to be used in Conjunction with Tax-Exempt Bonds and Non-Competitive Housing Credits in Counties Deemed Hurricane Sally Recovery Priorities, which will result in 88 units of affordable housing for seniors, called Magnolia Trail, being developed on the site. Fred Gunther held an ownership interest the property, and the entity that held ownership was a listed development partner in the application submitted to Florida Housing. We are proud to support Escambia County’s efforts bring more much needed affordable housing to this community.

Fred Gunther and Troy Stepherson worked with the buyer and seller on the sale of this 2,382 SF office building at the Madison Park office complex. The park is located at the corner of 12th Avenue and Bayou Boulevard, which is central to the Pensacola International Airport, Pensacola State College, Ascension Sacred Heart healthcare, as well as Cordova Mall and surrounding retail. This was an all-cash deal sold to an owner-user.

Gunther Properties represents owner in sale of land to the City of Pensacola

Fred Gunther with Gunther Properties represented the owner of 2 vacant parcels located in the 2400 Block of Langley Avenue in a sale to the City of Pensacola. The parcels are located in the City’s proposed Airport Commerce Park area and were previously being held by the owner as investment property. Gunther negotiated with airport staff for several months before both parties agreed to a purchase price of approximately $434,000 per acre.
