On of my favorite local businesses turned 7 yesterday and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the So Chic Boutique Peoria Heights!

The owner, Sara 'Ray' O'Shea has been in my life since I met her in 2010. Over the years she has helped me plan events like my 40th Birthday Party where she took my pieces of inspiration and made them so beauty, designs my personal stationary as well as my favorite Galentine’s Day cards I send to my girls each years, runs TWO fabulous stores in both Peoria Heights and Morton as well being a fabulous mom of two!

Celebrating and supporting our local businesses is something that we should all be doing. Our local small businesses help make our community special and unique and you are personally impacting the community by keeping your money local.

Did you know emergency medical services respond to more than 7,000 children (younger than 18 years of age) with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) each year in the United States? A sudden cardiac arrest in school or at a school event can have a devasting impact on families and communities.

We have an opportunity to save lives right here within the Heart of Peoria by teaching our next generation how to respond in a cardiac emergency, which can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival! With the support of our community, the Association wants to provide CPR in Schools Training Kit™ to as many local schools in need as we can, to empower students to learn the lifesaving skills of CPR in just one class period, but we need your help!

I have always had a passion for real estate and the city of Peoria and I am coming back on to the real estate scene, but this time I am doing it my way.
