One of my favorite books that helped end power struggles with my toddler.

Turns out, I was making things a lot harder for myself as a mom 🙃

Biggest takeaways:

- keep things simple (don’t over explain)

- say what you what (instead of what you don’t want)

- it’s ok to be playful and creative with instructions (kids love a good game)

Short answer yes…just not in the same way 👀 when he first told me about her being “stuck behind a wall” I didn’t know I was pregnant 🙃

I am curious to see if she’ll still be “stuck” after baby sister arrives 🤔

You don’t get to choose how you were raised but you DO get to choose how you raise your own children.

If you’re overwhelmed, I see you.

If exhausted, I hear you.

If you’re determined to not raise a kid who has to heal from their childhood, I’m with you.

Cycle breaking isn’t easy but you don’t have to do it alone.

And you don’t have to do it in survival mode.

Stress in kiddos can be caused by a lot of different things but I’ve noticed my toddler is WAY more calm when his space is more organized and less cluttered.

🙌🏽 Having access to his own toys -> fosters independence and creativity

🤏🏽Only having a few options -> reduces over stimulation, decision fatigue and encourages responsibility

🎁 Having a toy rotation -> keeps things new exciting for him (and maintains my sanity 🤪)

I’m on a mission to support new mamas during those first few months of postpartum 🙌🏽 my goal is to deliver 10 before the end of June ☺️ 7 more to go 🫶🏼 hopefully I can get a couple more out before I give birth to my own bebe 🤭🌸
