The Peoria-area real estate market picked up steam this week, with more new listings, increased showing activity, and a jump in closed sales!

• New Listings: 148 (↑13% vs. last week, ↑19% vs. 2025)
• Pendings: 95 (same as last week, ↓14% vs. 2025)
• Showings: 1,088 (↑12% vs. last week, ↑8% vs. 2025)
• Sold Homes: 95 (↑36% vs. last week, ↓14% vs. 2025)
• Average Days on Market: 20
• Weekly Solds as % of New Listings: 64%
• Net Inventory Change: +53

What this means: After a slower Labor Day week, local activity rebounded. New listings were up significantly both week-over-week and compared with last year, while showings increased 12%. Pending sales held steady, and inventory continued to grow—giving buyers more homes to choose from as we head into fall. 🍂
