When building The Scotti Home Team, I knew I wanted to surround myself with people who were not only talented and hardworking, but committed to continually learning, growing, and becoming the very best at what they do.
That’s exactly who Mahlon Kupferschmid is.
Mahlon brings a unique combination of construction knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others. He began working in construction right out of high school, gaining firsthand experience and an understanding of what goes into building a quality home from start to finish. That background gives him a valuable perspective when helping clients evaluate the homes they’re buying and selling.
Since entering real estate, Mahlon has shown the same drive and determination. He has already been recognized as the 2026 Peoria Area Association of REALTORS® Rookie of the Year, a 2026 Jim Maloof REALTOR® Rising Star, and was selected to participate in the 2026 PAAR Leadership Academy.
Those accomplishments are impressive, but they’re only part of the reason I wanted Mahlon on our team.
What impressed me most is his character. He is humble, eager to learn, and willing to put in the work it takes to become exceptional at what he does. Most importantly, he understands that this business is about the people we serve and consistently puts his clients’ best interests first.
Mahlon is driven to be among the best in our industry, but not simply for the recognition that comes with success. His goal is to continually improve so he can provide his clients with the knowledge, guidance, and exceptional service they deserve. That mindset fits perfectly with what we are building at The Scotti Home Team.
Mahlon grew up in Eureka as one of eight children in a large, close-knit family. All seven of his siblings have remained local to the area, and family continues to be an important part of his life. They genuinely enjoy spending time together, supporting one another, and showing up for each other’s goals and new ventures. I think that strong sense of family, community, and supporting the people around him says a lot about the person Mahlon is.
Outside of real estate, Mahlon enjoys just about anything that keeps him active and outdoors. During the summer, you’ll likely find him boating, at a concert, or playing pickleball. In the winter, he enjoys snowboarding, relaxing in the hot tub, and, of course, spending time with friends and family.
There is no doubt Mahlon has an incredibly bright future in real estate. I’m excited to have him alongside me as we build The Scotti Home Team and even more excited to watch him continue to grow, succeed, and serve our clients with excellence.
