For those needing resources, Grace Baptist in Aroma Park (2499 Waldron Rd, Kankakee, IL) has a power-charging station provided by ComEd. Snacks/water, buckets for cleanup, bags, gloves, etc. are also at Grace Baptist that were donated by Home Depot, Lowes and Our Home.
For other businesses wishing to similarly donate, please contact the Kankakee County Emergency Management Agency ([email protected]) so your donations can be vetted/regulated.
ShineFM is accepting donations for the community-at-large that is being donated by private citizens (450 S Main St, Bourbonnais, IL).
A reminder that the Kankakee Community College has been set up by the American Red Cross as a temporary shelter/lodging from those displaced by the storms.
