It would of been real easy to curl up on the couch in my pajamas today …

2 years ago today, I joined The American Dream North Florida

I actually passed my real estate exam (on the first try 😉 ) just a week before Hurricane Idalia hit... so you could say my start in real estate was a little chaotic

Fast forward to April 2024, I finally decided to sit down and talk to Hope and haven't looked back since.

Here's something most people don't realize...
A huge percentage of realtors quit within their first 1-2 years, and nearly 87% don't make it past 5 years and for the ones who do stick it out, many don't see a real profit until year 3-5.

And even with those odds... I experienced not one, not two, but THREE major hurricanes here in Taylor County.

Since joining, I've sold over $2.2 MILLION in real estate.

I'm not saying this business is easy or that joining a specific brokerage is some kind of golden ticket because it's not…

I've answered calls at all hours, written contracts at 10 o'clock at night, and yes... I've definitely jumped out of the shower waiting on that "your offer was accepted" text (still working on those boundaries 😆).

But along the way, something really special happened, clients turned into friends... the kind that will be sitting at my wedding this year.

This team has taught me that when you treat your clients like family, it truly makes a difference. These aren't just transactions or paychecks.

It's a family starting their next chapter.
It's kids finally having space to run around
It's grandparents moving closer to their grandbabies.
It's someone retiring by the water.
Or a family who never thought homeownership was possible... finally getting the keys.

The training, the support, and the people here are unmatched.

Everyone meet peaches the stingray! 🍑

📍 Gulf Specimen Marine Lab

A nonprofit marine lab + aquarium that does way more than just display animals.
They actually rescue and rehabilitate sea turtles and other marine life, treating injuries from things like boats, fishing gear, and storms before releasing them back into the Gulf. 🐢

They also provide hands on education with touch tanks full of local species, so you're learning about what's right here in our waters.

The staff was incredible with the kids. So patient and happy to answer all their questions.
