Tomorrow is Salmon Sunday in Eastport!
Kendall Farm & Georgie Kendall, The Realtor along with freshly picked flowers from my friend Chase will be adorning the tables. Great music, great food, fun vendors, hopefully great weather!

Tonight the lake was flat, no wind but enough of a chill in the air that there were no bugs. Fall is here! Yippee. Lakeside cocktails & pizza with Druzie. Cricket goes wild for her.
We heard the weirdest noises just past the boathouse along the shore and I could not figure out what that was. Turns out it was a pair of blue herons having quite a chat. And then we watched them fly around together over the lake. Beautiful. Overhead in the birch tree was a stealth kingfisher that surprised us, chattering and dancing with his partner. And then as the sun finally set a little after seven the loons came out.

Ah. Lake life!

Lake life! My sweet & sassy pup, Cricket catching the breeze on Boyden Lake.
We have a few weeks available in September. My favorite time of year here. Cooler evenings with back-to-back events, including the Salmon & Pirate Festivals in neighboring Eastport.

If anyone would like to come and pick blueberries, highbush, giant blueberries, please do! They are super Duper sweet. Not as perfect as wild ones but three times the size. And pretty darn close. You can drive a car right up here, wheelchair accessible, and my bushes are 5 feet tall so you don’t even have to bend over if that’s hard for you.
The rule of picking at Kendall Farm is you pick as much as you want and half of your harvest goes to the farm and the other half goes home with you.

Oh my goodness! Soundbaths in the lake & on the deck with Deb are the best! What a relaxing, rejuvenating, and uplifting few days we have had. We were blessed with fabulous weather, the serenade of loons as we started, the flyover of an adult and juvenile bald eagles, and the chatter of a curious red squirrel tween.

Thank you, Deb & everyone who attended. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful!

Another beautiful sunset with my favorite pooch named Cricket. I’m so glad I took the time to name her. Her name fits her personality perfectly and she still hops through the fields, and now onto beds, chairs, beds, cars, laps, and in two hops into Dad’s honkin’ F-150. Impressive!
Training to rein that in continues but I see some fun tricks in her future.
