It’s easy to fall in love with the updated kitchen, trendy paint colors, and beautiful staging but those aren’t always the things that will cost you the most.

When I’m showing homes to buyers, I’m always paying attention to the big-ticket items that can impact your budget long after closing day. Things like the roof, HVAC system, windows, water heater, and other major components can tell us a lot about the home’s condition and potential future expenses.
