💙💙💙Color drenching is EVERYWHERE right now — walls, trim, ceilings, doors, and even built-ins all painted the same color. And honestly? It can look absolutely stunning. Moody, cozy, dramatic, elevated… it definitely makes a statement.💜💜💜

❓But here’s the question: Is it worth it?

🚪Painting walls is one thing. Painting woodwork, trim, doors, and cabinetry is a much bigger commitment — both financially and in terms of future resale or trends. What feels fresh and designer-inspired today could eventually feel dated the same way dark accent walls, gray everything, or Tuscan kitchens once did.

On the flip side, homes should reflect the people living in them NOW, not just future trends. If color drenching makes your space feel warm, unique, and more “you,” maybe that’s worth it.

Personally, I think there’s a balance:
✨ Color drenching in a bedroom, office, powder room, or den? Bold, pretty, and safer.
✨ Painting original woodwork in a historic home? Maybe pause and think twice.
✨ Using rich but timeless colors instead of ultra-trendy shades? Probably safer long-term.

It might seem like a small step, but plant tags are packed with important information that can make or break your garden 🌸

Here’s what to look for:
✔ Sun requirements (full sun vs. shade)
✔ Spacing (don’t overcrowd!)
✔ Water needs
✔ Mature size (this one surprises people 😅)
✔ Annual vs. perennial

Planting something in the wrong spot can lead to poor growth—or no growth at all. A few seconds reading the tag can save you time, money, and frustration later!
