I am so beyond behind on this one, but this one was a super special closing.
Every closing has it's own special story. This one was so fun. A friend popped in to one of my open houses and told me they have been renting their entire time and now they are looking for a forever home. They had cash and had a very specific area of Novato and a very specific need. Fast forward to a property I knew was coming on the market but not yet allowed to be shown. Knowing the listing agent and bugging him for a few days, I finally got my clients in the home prior to it going live. We wrote an offer than night and even though the seller did not want to look at offers till after the first open house, we stayed connected to the agent.
A super clean offer, a very persistent agent and a good relationship with the other agent, our offer got accepted that weekend and 10 days later, the new buyers got the keys to their forever home. It tool 34 days from the first hug at the open house to the keys in hand. A few bumps in the road, a few disagreements on homes and needs between parties... and the most fun balancing all of it.
