Yesterday, after many months of work, we closed on our purchase of the Charles Leonard Hardware Building. 68,000 square feet of what was the Lowes of southern Virginia and parts of North Carolina. Beautiful building. The fourth floor loft, at over 4,000 sf, is about the coolest looking apartment you have ever seen.

Dean and I completed our purchase of the Appomattox Iron Works today. We are very excited about the opportunities that are ahead of us and we work to restore and improve this unique property in Old Towne.

We completed our first Old Towne purchases today. We now have seven commercial spaces and eight apartments. Crews have been working since last week to upgrade and improve the residential units. New hardwood floors and other improvements. We look forward to an April Friday for the Arts Open House.
