We are asking that if you are calling about the electricity, we do not know when it will be back on. Please contact Austin Energy for any electric related questions at 512-322-9100. For the time being, please reserve our on call emergency line for any leaks or fire reported to us.
It is hard for our office to gauge the magnitude of this issue and when its completion will be, and all we can do is hope for and pray that this gets fixed soon with ERCOT and Austin Energy and all the other Energy Companies in Texas.
If you feel that you need assistance, please dial 9-1-1 or contact the City of Austin who has set up warming centers throughout the area. You would need to call 512-305-4233 and they can direct you on the process of getting to these warming shelters. Please also visit outagemap.austinenergy.com for more information. Also, do your best to stay warm and bundle up with layers, and hopefully the power returns soon.
