Well, not what we expected. There is a spring bubbling up around the drilled well. A casing extender was added to bring teh casing 18" above the ground and prevent any contamination. A Goulds submersible pump was added to the bottom of the 60' well. New 1" piping was threaded through the old 1 1/4" line to the house and a bladder tank installed. All we need to to is run the electric to the pump control box and we have water. It has been 20 years sine teh home has had running water.

Can You say "PERK"? Yes, it rained and rained and then stopped for 48 hours. Dug a 24 inch hole, filled it with water 12 inches and waited for the water to drop 1 inch...........Any guesses? Took 2 minutes and 6 seconds! What a Blessing! Now, we can engineer the septic system. Stay Tuned!

We have water in the well, Well, we have more water than what the well will hold. Yes, it is an Artesian Well. The water just bubbles to the top of the casing. Looks like teh overflow is between 5-7 gallons/ minute. Thank You, Lord!
