Stop assuming every home will turn into a bidding war.
That was my buyer’s mindset.
He told me he didn’t want to overpay. No hopeless offers. He just wanted to find a quality home at a fair price. And soon.
So we got to work.
Instead of chasing the hottest listings, we looked for opportunities others overlooked.
We quickly found a home that had been sitting on the market, simply because it was overpriced. After evaluating the numbers, we made an offer based on what the home was actually worth, not the seller’s expectations. And it was eventually accepted.
The appraisal later confirmed we were right.
Headlines will make it sound like every buyer has to waive inspections, bid $100,000 over asking, and pray it gets accepted.
That’s simply not true.
There are still opportunities for buyers who have a strategy, instead of chasing the crowd.
Congratulations to my buyer on finding a great home without playing the seller’s game.
If you’re tired of feeling like every house is out of reach, send me a message. There may be better opportunities than you think.
