Binswanger is pleased to have worked with Surplus City on the successful sale of this 116,376 SF industrial facility in Lafayette, Indiana.

This marks the second time Binswanger has sold this facility in 5 years. We first represented the sale in 2021, when Surplus City acquired the building as an owner-user. This time around, we represented the sale again, now as an investment transaction to a large industrial ownership group, with Surplus City staying on as the tenant.

95 years and counting! 🎉 The Philadelphia Business Journal just published a great look back at Binswanger's history — from our humble beginnings leasing space for Pennsylvania's state liquor stores in the 1930s, to helping bring the Comcast Center to the Philly skyline.

Today, as an employee-owned firm, we're carrying Frank Binswanger Sr.’s entrepreneurial spirit forward — still headquartered in the city where it all began.
