Good afternoon!

We begin this month with a moderate decrease in new listings to hit the market. The total number of single family units that went under contract since the end of July crept downward with a slight increase in the total number that have officially sold. Months of inventory went up from 3.3 to 4.4.
Provided that no new listings were to enter the market, you can look at months of inventory as the amount of time, in months, it would take for all current listings on the MLS to sell.
