This go fund me is to raise money for a memorial bench at the new BORSKI PARK right up the street from where my father lived for decades. I know my father would be thrilled and honored ! Please help me make this happen ! Below are just A FEW ways my father made an impact on Bridesburg. Ontop of being an amazing citizen and human being he made an even better husband , father and grand pop to our children ! Heās truly missed! Help me honor my father !
Frank Kruzinski is a true community hero whose dedication, courage, and leadership have shaped the Bridesburg neighborhood and beyond for decades. His service has earned him formal recognition from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, the State Senate, the Philadelphia Police Department, the City Controllerās Office, and the Bridesburg School Safe Corridor initiative.
Frank has been a member of the Bridesburg Town Watch since 1986, serving as President since 1995. His leadership has helped build a safer, more connected community. He is also a devoted member of St. John Cantius Church, reflecting his strong values and commitment to service.
In October 2009, Frank played a key role in the apprehension of a suspect in an attempted child abduction, earning him a citation from Senator Mike Stack, a formal letter of commendation from Philadelphia City Controller Alan Butkovitz, and coverage in local newspapers. His quick response and intervention were described as āparamount to the arrest of the suspect,ā and his actions were praised by both officials and the community.
On November 29th, Frank and his partner Harry Krings responded to a robbery at a Wawa store on Richmond Street. Without hesitation, they located and detained a suspect, who was later positively identified and admitted to the crime in court. For this, Frank was honored by the Philadelphia Police Departmentās 15th District.
Frankās commitment to public safety also includes formal training. He earned a Certificate of Achievement on March 26, 2007, for completing Philadelphia Operation Town Watch Training as part of the Bridesburg School Safe Corridor programāhighlighting his dedication to protecting children and supporting local schools.
In addition to these specific acts of service, Frank was recognized on January 26, 2009, by the Philadelphia Police Departmentās 15th District for his outstanding performance and dedication to the safety and well-being of Philadelphiaās citizens.
Frankās leadership extended beyond Bridesburg. In a series of newspaper articles covering the troubled Cokey Coke property, Frank was featured as part of the Middlesburg Town Watch, helping to patrol and clean up the area. His involvement supported citywide efforts to reclaim neglected urban spaces and improve public safety.
Frankās contributions were further honored in two separate citations from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, both sponsored by State Representative John J. Taylor, recognizing his outstanding dedication, faithful service, and exemplary citizenship.
Additional newspaper clippings highlight Frankās continued recognition by the 15th District Police Department Advisory Council (PDAC). In one article titled ā15th District honors 'Burg's Town Watch,ā Frank and fellow members were honored as Officers of the Month for their exemplary work.
