Very sad to end my real estate career with Long & Foster today. They closed the Center City office. 😔 A little bitter sweet. I couldn't be a great agent AND a great care-giver to my aging mother with ALZ, so one had to give. RE lost.
It was possibly the hardest and most rewarding job I've ever had.
I may get back to it in NC. Moving south to be near my brother where we can help each other. He's in real estate too...we'd make a great brother-sister team.
Time will tell. For now... I'm just sad to say a final goodbye to our Old City office and all who worked there.

See ya'll 'round Philly ... at least for the next year. Be well!

Long & Foster has added Juneteenth as a company wide holiday and a day of reflection.

From the corporate office:

The historical significance of Juneteenth will be honored as a company-wide holiday by the Long & Foster family, and we will give employees the day off. Known as Juneteenth, this observance day commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. I encourage you to use this as a day of reflection. Take the time to listen, learn and educate yourself on racism and social justice and what you can do.

The appeal is for REALTORs to be able to help our Customers SAFELY. PA is one of the few states that does not see housing as an essential business.

Housing is an essential human need. Please sign Senate Bill 613 into law to allow Pennsylvanians to be able to buy or rent necessary shelter.
