Covenant House PA Covenant House Pennsylvania is much more than a shelter. Your generosity and support isn't only welcome, but needed.

Inspired by faith, we are a community devoted to absolute respect and unconditional love ensuring that all youth experiencing homelessness can lead lives full of purpose and joy. We provide an array of services for homeless young people, including a first-class medical clinic, full time staff to assist with educational and vocational needs, and around the clock one-on-one support to help our young people plan, stay on track, and achieve their goals. We also provide housing for longer periods to give our kids ample time to find work, learn important skills, and save money - giving them the best possible chance of achieving independence. With the vital work that we do, it's hard to believe that we operate almost entirely on private donations - more than 90% to be exact. For our partners at Cisco, Sleep Out is about showing up...with heart, with community, and with hope. đź’™

In this video, Cisco team members share why they choose to Sleep Out for young people experiencing homelessness. For Monica Naim, Covenant House Pennsylvania Board Member and Cisco Regional Leader, that commitment is deeply personal.

Having experienced homelessness as a teenager herself, Monica knows what a second chance and a helping hand can mean. After last year’s Sleep Out, she captured the spirit of the night simply: “Thank you for choosing good. Thank you for choosing hope.”

On November 19, Cisco will once again join us at Citizens Bank Park, sleeping out on the Phillies outfield and raising critical funds to give young people the safety, support, and opportunities they deserve.

This week, our Covenant House PA team brought a little Phillies spirit to Safe Haven! ❤️ Between supporting our youth and keeping things moving, our team found a few moments to catch the game, check the score, grab a pretzel, and cheer on the Phils together. 🥨⚾️

🎨 Mosaic Art with ROP Youth 🎨 Youth in our Rights of Passage (ROP) program in Kensington enjoyed a free, hands-on mosaic workshop where they created artwork they could take with them. 💙

Thank you to The Honickman Companies for choosing to support Covenant House Pennsylvania, alongside VOA-GNY, UNCF and Philabundance, at the 7th Annual Honickman Invitational.

The event raised $72,500 for Covenant House PA and the youth we serve, as part of an incredible $645,000 raised collectively for all four organizations.

We’re especially grateful to Reginald and Angela Goins and the Angela and Reginald Goins Charity Fund for their continued generosity and matching support, and to Jeffrey Cook, CFO of The Honickman Companies and Treasurer of the Covenant House PA Board, along with Fallon McCarthy and Lauren Harris, for their partnership and commitment to our mission.

Last Saturday, members of the Villanova University community spent the day at our Safe Haven emergency shelter, assembling furniture and getting our 4th floor ready to welcome new residents this fall.

When it reopens, we’ll be able to welcome 12 more young people each night. Thank you to everyone who helped create a space that feels safe, comfortable and welcoming for young people who may be walking through our doors during some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. We feel incredibly lucky to have you in our corner.

A special shoutout to the Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (HHAW) Board members who joined us and who help make Villanova’s annual Solidarity Sleep Out possible, and to Michael Morissey, who has captained the team for the past four years. This year’s Sleep Out on Wednesday, March 10 will be Michael’s final one before graduation, and we’re so grateful for all he has done to support CHPA and our young people.

And thank you to Raymond Ward, PhD, Associate Director for Advocacy and Engagement at the Center for Peace and Justice Education, for being a champion of service and advocacy and for helping foster this partnership over the years.

Yesterday, the 20th Annual Henkels & McCoy, Inc. Golf Invitational brought together an incredible community of partners, sponsors, alumni, and supporters for a day of golf and, most importantly, impact. ⛳️💙

This year’s event raised $138,000 for Covenant House Pennsylvania, bringing the tournament’s total to more than $2.7 million raised for CHPA over the past 20 years.

We’re grateful to the entire Henkels & McCoy community for championing our mission and standing by our young people for two decades. We could not do this work without partners like them by our side.

A special thank you to Whitney, a CHPA alum, and William, a current resident, for sharing their stories and reminding us what this support makes possible.
